It’s not just an ordinary Tuesday, it’s Macaron Day in NYC!
Macaron Day is inspired by the Jour du Macaron in Paris, created by two fantastic shops – la Maison Pierre Hermé and Relais Desserts.
While we won’t be able to hop across the pond and taste French confections from those shops, dozens of NYC macaron shops have banded together to offer New Yorkers a taste of France, for free.
Click here to view a list of participating bakeries and plan your macaron crawl. Don’t forget to mention you are there for Macaron Day 2012.
If you’d like to celebrate this glorious day by making these delicate confections at home, check out my how to guide.
Happy munching!
Yours look really good to me and with that chocolate ganache, yum. I’ve never had macarons, so sometime I’ll have to try some with you!
ooo – looks decadent Mar…….esp with the ganache!
